yesterday, mac & i ventured to the "big city" for a day of food & fabric. our plan...to design our very own one-of-a-kind 21st birthday dresses. this could prove interesting considering neither of us are expert seamtresses. all the same, we found ourselves in love with the city & spontaneous adventure.
walking into their vibrant showroom was literally like stumbling upon interior design heaven.

we left on cloud nine, but without anything for our dresses :(
turns out, louis & sharon is mostly upholstery fabric..
oops. another weekend i guess.

chocolate cupcakes baked right into tufts of parchment paper=genious.
icing that tastes like butter=success.
