finals. the culmination of the semester on two {maybe three} sheets of paper. my finals haven't been anywhere near as stressful as others, but the anticipation still feels like running on a treadmill & not going anywhere. just have to keep those wheels turning. i've sufficed this week so far on rice crispie treats & coffee.
finals have an odd way of playing with your psyche. everything that is normally boring & unentertaining becomes distracting & magnetic {the backs of cereal boxes, shampoo, my eyebrows}. everything is also about a thousand times funnier when you're sitting in a quiet, "no talking" library. feels like being in church when you were little & not being able to giggle.
what a relief when i get to let out that laugh after my art history final tomorrow at noon.
ahhhhhh.
